Mirriam Mueni is the Sustainability Manager at ZEP-RE (PTA Reinsurance Company), where she leads the company’s sustainability and ESG agenda across its Pan-African operations. A Rhodes Scholar and graduate of the University of Oxford, she holds an MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and the Environment, and a Master of Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government. Prior to her current role, she worked in London as a Sustainability Analyst advising DFIs and MDBs on ESG considerations for projects across Africa. She has also held roles with The Rhodes Trust, Fund for the City of New York, and Equity Bank Group, and began her career at ZEP-RE across the Investments, Claims, and Technical Accounting functions.
