Tendai Matika is Head of Africa, Responsible Investment Ecosystems at the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The PRI is a UN-supported organization, with more than 5,300 signatories who collectively represent over US $128 trillion in AUM. Tendai is responsible for enhancing responsible investment awareness and practices across Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as for the coordination and local implementation of global PRI initiatives to drive progressive signatory action.
Tendai previously worked for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), where she helped African organizations to assess and report on environmental, social, and economic impacts.
Tendai holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Social Policy and Development with distinction as well as degrees in Development Studies and Public Governance.
