The Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance will be represented at the 51st Conference and Annual General Assembly of the African Insurance Organization (AIO). Organized by the AIO, the theme of the event is around, “Balancing the Books: Africa’s debt problem why does country debt impact insurers?”.
NDSI will be represented our NDSI Chair Mr. Philip Lopokoiyit, CEO, ICEA Lion; SteerCo Member Liz Booth Editorial Director, Africa Ahead; and Mr. Andrew Selous, Director of International Gov’t Affairs & Reinsurance Advocacy, C&C Insurance Group. These distinguished NDSI members will be discussing a pertinent topic in a session dubbed: “Can African Insurance Markets Afford the True Cost of ESG while there is so much Debt to be Repaid?” Do join us, as we seek solutions to the common challenges facing the Insurance sector.
