This event is convened by the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions and its partners to discuss how the emerging opportunities and solutions can be leveraged in close collaboration with the public sector and public finance institutions.
There has been considerable progress in mobilizing private finance for adaptation and resilience in the past year. Besides the increasing awareness and the exceptional leadership to innovate, develop and create the enabling conditions to scale finance for adaptation and resilience such as the Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance, there has been specific progress along the Sharm El-Sheikh Adaptation Agenda Finance outcomes which this event is capturing.
