Mr. Lesley Ndlovu is the Chief Executive Officer of African Risk Capacity (ARC), where he has led efforts to enhance Africa’s resilience to climate-related risks and natural disasters since 2020. With over 14 years of experience across corporate finance, audit, insurance, and investment management, he previously served as CEO of AXA Africa Specialty Risks, a Lloyd’s of London syndicate, and worked in Bermuda, Singapore, France, and the UK.
In addition to his role at ARC, Mr. Ndlovu is a Non-Executive Director at ACTIVA Assurances CMR and PULA, and an Advisory Council Member for the Women of the World Endowment. He was also a Board Member of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI), contributing to global sustainability efforts in the insurance sector.
Mr. Ndlovu is a graduate of Oxford University and INSEAD, a CFA charterholder, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and the Institute of Directors
