Caroline Wakesho Sonje is a sustainability and ESG specialist with over 10 years’ experience across insurance, banking, and environmental governance. She currently consults as The Group ESG Specialist for ICEA LION, integrating ESG across insurance, asset management, and trust businesses. A former UNEP FI Africa Regional Coordinator and KCB Group Sustainability Manager, she has served on Kenya’s NEMA Board and sits on the GRI Due Process Oversight Committee.
