Kenneth S. Matomola is the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA). With an extensive career in financial regulation and supervision, he has held several leadership roles within NAMFISA, including Acting CEO, Assistant CEO: Supervision, General Manager: Investment Institutions, and General Manager: Research, Policy & Statistics. Prior to joining NAMFISA, he worked at First National Bank as Manager: Regulatory Reporting and at the Bank of Namibia in various positions within the Banking Supervision Department. Mr. Matomola is deeply passionate about financial regulation, supervision, and market development.

He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-banking Financial Authorities (CISNA), a substructure of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), and is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).

Mr Matomola holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of London, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Namibia, and an Advanced Diploma in Central Banking from the Institute of Bankers South Africa. Additionally, he has completed the Senior Leadership Development Programme at the University of Cape Town and the Senior Executive Programme – Africa at Harvard Business School.
