An alumnus of the prestigious University of Ibadan (Nigeria) and University of Cape Town (South Africa) Graduate School of Business, Oluseye Olakanmi began his professional career in insurance industry in 2011 after an early stint in the technology sector. He joined African Reinsurance Corporation under the Young Professional Programme and rose through the ranks to the position of an Executive Director as its Chief of Staff and Strategy. A position he has held since July 2024 till date.
As Chief of Staff and Strategy, he supports the Executive Leadership of the leading pan-African reinsurer in strategy formulation, strategy execution and organisational effectiveness. He is skilled in aligning organisational priorities, driving cross-functional effectiveness and turning complex challenges into clear and actionable business plans.
