Winnie is Consultant and Actuary at Impact Actuarial. She is an actuary with 10+ years of experience in data analytics, insurance risk assessment and regulatory reporting. She has led projects at top consultancies including PwC Ireland and Mazars. With the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya, she led the BimaLab accelerator for Insurtech startups and developed Kenya’s National Innovation Strategy for financial regulators. Winnie was a Fellow with Dream VC and has strong exposure to Africa’s venture capital and startup ecosystem which is critical to driving innovation in sustainable insurance. Within the NDSI ESG Integration Program, Winnie is responsible for technical research and analysis including the NDSI Current State Report on sustainable insurance in Africa and the development of an ESG roadmap for the African insurance industry.
